A Baroque conversation recast for recorders.
Originally written for two oboes, bassoon, and continuo, Zelenka’s Sonata No. 4 is full of elegant dialogue and an unusually expressive bass line. This AAB recorder setting is transposed from G minor to A minor while preserving its supple, adventurous character.
