About the collection
Two tributes from Ireland’s blind harper.
Turlough O’Carolan (1670–1738) wrote these planxties in honor of members of the Power family. Each arrangement pairs three recorder lines with a harpsichord or another chordal instrument, whose player can develop an accompanying part from the supplied chords.
