A rare voice in 17th-century chamber music.
Leonora Duarte (1610–1678) was a Flemish composer and musician from Antwerp’s celebrated Duarte family. Her surviving Sinfonias were written for five viols; these arrangements bring their poised counterpoint and intimate character to recorder consort.
