Reminders:

Missed deadlines WILL reduce your grade!

Students will be graded on successful completion of all assignments, attendance, participation and tests. All graded components are expected to be completed. If any assignment is not completed with a passing grade the student will receive an F for the course. A grade of B- is required to continue toward music education licensure.

Class 1 1/20 (Due Class 2 - 1/27)

1. Get textbook - Read Introduction and Chapter 1 - Answer questions on p.2-3

2. Contact and set up observation schedule with cooperating teachers

3. Organize ALL observations for the semester! - Do this immediately!

4. Complete/update Observation Log (returning students)

5. Brainstorm more topics for discussion

6. Write 2-3 minute speech on “My most influential teacher” - 5 minutes if you’d like it to count for public speaking req. - Be ready to read it
