      • Paper: Title and questions to address: 12 point Times – double spaced – 3-5 pages

    • Write 3rd lesson plans – free choice with assessment rubric
      • Lesson must be 20 minutes - no more no less. It will be timed.
      • Choose an age level you haven’t done a lesson for yet: K-2, 3-4, 5-6
      • Written lesson plan must include an assessment rubric (“Embed” the assessment in your lesson teaching)
      • Topic is your choice - be creative!
      • Don’t feel like you have to think it up by yourself - check MENC (NAfME) for sample lessons as well as other sites and talk about it with others
      • Group "A" be ready to teach
    • Continue mentoring 11/11 – final posting date
    • Continue observations
    • Practice recorder!

Class 9 10/27

    • Continue mentoring (write profile and choose a piece NOW if you haven't already!)

    • Learn the recorder piece!
    • Prepare for next lessons (either teaching the unit next week or writing and teaching the week after)

      • Choose a simple, short melody from Chapter 4 and prepare to teach it to the class (which will turn into 3rd grade)
    • Hand in your MAJOR research paper on Methodologies and Learning Theories
    • Bring recorder to class
    • Be prepared for pictures!
